Pine audio series: What Happened to Your Fire, Tiger?

By Pine Magazine Staff
posted: Monday, 03 May 2010

The Atlanta-based What Happened to Your Fire, Tiger? runs a bit under the radar as they aren't the usual sort of band - you know, playing lots of shows, aggressively promoting their sound - but instead play it laid back by focusing more on recording than hitting the standard circuit. That said, they have quite the loyal fanbase that crowds the front each time they do take the stage, and these admirers are only going to grow. Plus let's be honest - they have one of the best band names out there.

Hilary Yarbrough (ex-Aviator, No Disassemble), Carrie Hodge (ex-Parade), Corey Pallon (ex-Pistolero) and Brian Slusher (Slushco) are the band. Pine's very own Justin Sias chatted up Yarbrough and Hodge earlier this week about their style, their methods and their upcoming recordings.

Listen to the interview here, and see the show Thursday night at the Star Bar along with Los Buenos, the Grand Prize Winners, Tom Cheshire and the All Nighters, and the Back Pockets. No cover, and we'll have bands upstairs and down.
