Actor Ryan Gosling and his goth-like ways

We've always been a fan of actor Ryan Gosling, and in this video, we remember why. Gosling goes oddly goth-pop, a sound created through four instruments: piano, drums, his voice and the collective voices of a couple dozen children. It works out to be a pretty charming yet almost a little disturbing in that Edward Gorey sort of way.

This song could easily be on a compiliation CD with Blackheart Procession and Murder By Death the same as it could a track on a Tim Burton movie soundtrack.

Gosling's voice is surprisingly deep, by the way. We sorta figured he'd be a bit more, um, Coldplay-ish. Thankfully he's not.
